Veterinarian or Agronomist Engineer to coordinate the Livestock area in Palencia

Leading company in the agri-food sector is looking for a VETERINARIAN or Agronomist Engineer to coordinate the Livestock area and join their team.

Requirements:

Education and experience University degree in Veterinary Medicine (preferably) or Agronomic Engineering, with proven experience in technical-commercial roles within the animal nutrition sector or livestock production.
Team leadership Proven experience in leading and developing work teams, setting objectives, monitoring results, and promoting a collaborative environment.
Strategic business vision Comprehensive understanding of the cooperative world and the agri-livestock value chain, guiding technical and commercial decisions towards profitability and organizational growth.
Technical knowledge in animal nutrition, especially ruminants, feed formulation, raw materials, additives, animal management, and production. Knowledge of feed manufacturing processes and logistics.
Commercial orientation Ability to develop business, identify commercial opportunities, and manage key accounts.
Cross-functional coordination Ability to coordinate with manufacturing, purchasing, quality, logistics, veterinary, administration, production, marketing, and management departments, ensuring aligned actions across departments.
Management by objectives and indicators Experience in defining, monitoring, and analyzing technical, commercial, and economic indicators, and making data-driven decisions.
Communication and negotiation skills for internal team management as well as negotiation with strategic clients, suppliers, and collaborators.
Proficiency in management tools.
Availability to travel and flexible working hours.
