What does this job involve?

At Quesos la Vasco Navarra, S.A. / Quesos Albéniz, we are looking to hire a Health and Safety Technician eager to contribute, learn, and actively help create safe, efficient, and sustainable work environments over time (operationally).

You will be part of a committed team where your role will be key to promoting a preventive culture and ensuring the well-being of people.

 

What will your mission be?

Support the H&S Manager in managing the prevention system, ensuring legal compliance and fostering a genuine safety culture throughout the organization.

 

What will you do day to day?

Be an active agent in the continuous improvement of workplace safety.

Participate in risk assessments.

Monitor preventive planning and its compliance.

Manage and keep H&S documentation up to date.

Conduct safety inspections on site and control PPE.

Deliver and coordinate safety training for teams.

Investigate accidents and incidents, proposing real improvements.

Collaborate in coordinating business activities (CAE).

Follow up on preventive actions and their compliance.

Participate in internal and external audits.

 

What are we looking for in you?

Technical education (Bachelor's degree or Higher Vocational Training, industrial branch or similar).

Higher Technician in H&S (at least one specialty).

At least 2-3 years of experience in an industrial environment.

 

Additionally, we will highly value if you have:

Practical knowledge of H&S regulations.

Experience in accident investigation.

Experience with CAE and management systems.

Good level of office software skills.
