Criminal practices aimed at fraudulently obtaining confidential user information are frequent, for example by impersonating a trusted person or company and using apparently official electronic communications, a practice known as Phishing.
1. If you're not sure, don't act: If you doubt the authenticity of an email, do not validate any action or click on any suspicious links.
2. Check the sender: Always verify that the sender's email address is official. Be wary of unsolicited messages asking you to enter confidential information.
3. Beware of attachments: Do not open attachments from suspicious emails, especially if they are executable or compressed files.
