What will your day-to-day be like?
Your main responsibilities will include:
Preparing and cooking dishes for the daily menu, à la carte, and events; collaborating in the planning of gastronomic proposals
Organizing and executing: menu, à la carte, and events (weddings, celebrations, groups) ensuring quality, presentation, and timing.
Organizing and carrying out the service. Presentation and timing are valued
Placing orders on demand, optimizing purchases with suppliers
Controlling and ensuring proper food handling, following hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
Managing and organizing the work area; taking care of materials, food, timing, etc.
Supporting the reception, storage, and control of raw materials.
Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy, and well organized at all times.
Communication and teamwork: Coordinating with your kitchen and dining room colleagues to ensure smooth service.
Participating in special events, adapting to different workloads.
Stock control and costing, ensuring optimal use of resources
Who are we looking for?

Passion for cooking and ingredients.
Culinary training: Vocational training, hospitality school, or similar is a plus.
Up-to-date food handler’s certificate.
Previous experience required: in restaurants, hotels, or events (preferred).
Organization and autonomy: You know how to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
Teamwork: You enjoy collaborating, supporting, and contributing with your colleagues.
Proactive and responsible attitude.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Knowledge of hygiene and food safety.
Flexible schedule: Availability for shifts and occasional events.
Willingness to learn and constantly improve.
(A car is required if the candidate does not live in Balmaseda)
