In this position, you will be responsible for…
Supervising the dining room service, ensuring that every experience aligns with the restaurant's standards of excellence.
Attending to customers professionally, taking care of every detail and conveying Monastrell's gastronomic concept.
Presenting, explaining, and actively selling the menu, pairings, and wine list.
Coordinating smoothly with the kitchen and dining room to ensure harmonious service.
Preparing, organizing, and supervising the mise en place before, during, and after service.
Controlling service timing, the sequencing of courses, and the final quality of presentation in the dining room.
Managing autonomously any incidents that may arise during service.
Professionally handling the POS system, order management, and cash register closings.
Job Requirements
Experience: Proven experience as Head Waiter/Head Waitress or senior waiter/waitress in high-end or fine dining restaurants.
Languages: High level of English. Other languages will be valued.
Education: Training in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or related fields.
Technical knowledge: Proficiency in POS systems, order management, and cash register closings.
Skills: Excellent communication, presence in the dining room, and customer orientation. Stable profile, responsible, and committed to long-term gastronomic projects.
Residence: Residence in Alicante or willingness to relocate to the area.
