Dimensional Metrology Technician – 3D Dimensional Control

At Servincal, we are looking to hire a technician for our dimensional metrology line in Valladolid.

The person will be responsible for measuring parts according to drawings, dimensional control, interpreting dimensional and geometric tolerances, preparing technical reports, and operating measurement equipment such as coordinate measuring machines (CMM), portable arms, and/or 3D scanners.

Main responsibilities:

Interpretation of mechanical drawings.

Measuring parts according to dimensions, dimensional and geometric tolerances.

Use of dimensional measurement equipment: CMM, portable arm, 3D scanner, calipers, micrometers, etc.

Preparation of result reports.

Technical contact with clients when necessary.

Occasional support in other calibration laboratory tasks.

Valuable requirements:

Experience in dimensional metrology, quality control, machining, automotive, tooling, or mechanical manufacturing.

Knowledge of CMM/coordinate measuring, measuring arms, 3D scanning, PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, Metrolog, Calypso, or similar software.

Ability to interpret drawings and geometric tolerances.

Organized, methodical person with technical judgment.

Driver's license required.

Willingness to perform on-site measurements, i.e., measuring at client facilities.
