Autismo Valladolid, a leading organization in the care and advocacy of the rights of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families, is opening a selection process to incorporate staff as caregivers in the Home – Residence.
Main Responsibilities
Personal assistance and daily care of the users. All individuals served require support to carry out basic activities of daily living.
Support in health and well-being. Users require continuous medical monitoring. This includes medication administration, treatment supervision, and management of basic medical care (wounds, epileptic seizures, fever, oxygen saturation…). Symptom recording and communication to management or family.
Participation in rehabilitation programs and functional support therapies aimed at improving mobility, physical strength, and autonomy of the individuals. Promoting their independence as much as possible and preventing premature deterioration.
Emotional and social support. Emotional support is a key aspect; all users require this care. The technician promotes the inclusion of the user in community and social activities that enhance their emotional well-being.
Job Profile
Required qualification: Intermediate Vocational Training in Care for People in Situations of Dependency (Technician in Social and Health Care) or Nursing Assistant Technician (TCAE) or Professional Certificates in Social and Health Care for Dependent People in Social Institutions: For working in residences and day centers.

Conditions
Work schedule: Full-time and part-time from Monday to Sunday, with availability for morning, afternoon, night shifts, holidays, and weekends.
