Are you passionate about hospitality and ready to take on a key role in an exciting new opening?

Emi X is a new gastronomic bar in the Old Town of San Sebastián, bringing together Japanese home cooking, Spanish influences, creative drinks, and warm, informal hospitality.

We are looking for a hands-on Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead our evening operations and help us build a strong team and service culture from the very beginning.
 

Your role

As Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will:

- Lead and coordinate the evening service across the bar, dining area, and kitchen

- Train, support, and motivate the team

- Work actively alongside the team, both behind the bar and on the floor

- Ensure consistently warm and efficient customer service

- Organize staff shifts and day-to-day operations

- Oversee stock control, ordering, cash reconciliation, and daily closing

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and presentation

- Help develop practical systems and procedures as part of the opening team
 

What we are looking for

- Previous experience managing a restaurant, bar, or hospitality team in San Sebastian

- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

- A practical, hands-on approach

- The ability to remain calm and make decisions during busy services

- Fluent communication in both Spanish and English

- Legal right to work in Spain

- Availability to work evenings and weekends

- Knowledge of cocktails, wine, POS systems, and stock management would be an advantage.

Position details

Contract: Full-time

Schedule: Five days per week

Typical hours: 16:00–24:00

Days off: Wednesday and Thursday

Salary: According to the applicable Gipuzkoa hospitality collective agreement

Location: Old Town, San Sebastián
