BIM Modeling Technician (MEX and travel to Turks & Caicos)

At Talat, we are looking to hire a BIM Modeling Technician with experience in 3D modeling of installations, architecture, or structure, who ensures the correct coordination of all elements among themselves and integrates into this engineering project scheduled to start in September 2026. The selected person will support the BIM Coordinator in the design and modeling of the project. The selection process and hiring will take place in Mexico.

Main activities:

Modeling
o Model installations, architecture, or structure in 3D using Autodesk Revit.
o Develop models according to the required LOD at each phase.
o Model existing elements and integrate them with the new design.
Coordination
o Update and review models based on project comments and changes.
o Perform clash detection using Navisworks and Model Coordination.
o Ensure the correct coordination of all elements within the federated model.
Documentation
o Prepare drawings and graphic documentation from the BIM model.
o Support measurements and material quantifications.
o Generate installation reports derived from the BIM model.
BIM Standards
o Comply with BIM standards and apply modeling protocols.
o Meet the requirements established in the BEP.
o Create and update project families.
Quality Control
o Verify that models are accurate and complete.
o Identify and correct modeling errors before each delivery.
Quality and Environment (training provided by the company)
o Apply the environmental best practices indicated in the Guide.
o Know and apply the quality and environmental policy.

Experience:

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit for 3D modeling of installations, architecture, or structure.
• Autodesk Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.
• Ability to develop models according to the required LOD at each project phase.
• Ability to work according to BIM standards, modeling protocols, and BEP (BIM Execution Plan).
• Conduct quality checks (QA/QC) of the model: accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
