What does this job involve?

We offer the position of Second Chef at Masía Campo Aníbal, one of the most prestigious banquet and event companies in the Valencian Community.

Our company, highly solvent, owns a Masía with its Own Kitchen, dedicated exclusively to Events (not a restaurant). We are a highly professional family business, known for its unmatched spaces, as well as the excellence of its Kitchen and its Dining Service.

We are looking to add to our team a skilled professional, highly motivated, with a long-term commitment to our company. The role reports directly to the Head Chef and will be part of a reliable team.

 

The responsibilities will include:

- Direct production for events and supervision of the rest of the team's production.

- Direct management of the events assigned under their responsibility.

- Conducting menu tastings prior to events.

- Developing new gastronomic ideas in the R&D process.

 

Work will be under attractive working conditions: continuous morning or afternoon shifts (no split shifts), Tuesday to Friday, and weekends for events (mainly Saturday midday and only some specific Sundays per year). Two days off per week. Part of the vacation during summer.

Improvement in variable salary after the first completed year.

Regarding required training, a medium-level degree in Cooking is required, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in banquets.
