At FLEISCHMANN'S COOKING GROUP SL, we manage the iconic Txoko Getaria restaurant, a benchmark of Basque grilling since 1953 and currently undergoing a full renovation under the direction of Chef Enrique Fleischmann and Maialen Gereka. We are looking to hire a Cook committed to culinary excellence and teamwork.
You will be part of a prestigious culinary project where the essence of Basque cuisine blends with innovative proposals, in a privileged location by the Cantabrian Sea.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and cooking dishes following the house standards of quality and presentation, maintaining the essence of Basque grilling and the new menu proposals.
Managing assigned sections and controlling product stock, ensuring the availability and freshness of ingredients.
Ensuring strict compliance at all times with hygiene and food safety regulations, as well as order and cleanliness in the kitchen.
Maintaining and caring for kitchen machinery and utensils, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
What we look for in your profile
Experience: 3 to 5 years in cooking.
Knowledge: Knowledge of local products and skill in high-demand environments.
Attitude: Commitment to quality, teamwork ability, proactive attitude, capacity to learn, and physical agility to perform during service.
Residence: Preference for residence in Getaria or nearby towns.
