What does this job involve?

At Grupo María José San Román, a benchmark in sustainable Mediterranean cuisine, we are selecting a Dining Room Waiter/Waitress for our restaurant La Vaquería, located in El Campello (Alicante). In this role, your mission will be to provide close, professional, and detail-oriented service, helping each customer have a memorable experience. You will be part of a team dedicated to product quality, respect for Mediterranean gastronomy, and hospitality.

Your main responsibilities

You will carry out food and beverage service, ensuring direct and professional customer attention. You will be responsible for preparing, setting up, and cleaning the work area before and after service, as well as stock control and proper product preservation. You will take orders, serve tables, handle payments and POS systems, and report any incidents to the dining room manager. Additionally, you will assist in preparing raw materials and simple dishes, and collaborate in receiving and storing goods.

Job requirements

Experience: Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, with high-end gastronomy experience especially valued.

Customer orientation: Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a service vocation.

Organization: Ability to organize, take initiative, and adapt to the pace of service.

Tools: Proficiency in POS systems and order management tools.

Languages: English level is a plus. Other languages will be an advantage.

Residence: Residence in El Campello or nearby area.

Commitment: Responsible, stable profile committed to the project during the substitution period.
