Reference cider house in Zarautz with over 20 years of history, own apple orchard, cider, and vermouth production, we are looking to hire a Head Chef to lead our team and continue a gastronomic proposal that combines tradition with carefully crafted signature cuisine.
We seek someone with their own vision, team management skills, and passion for local products, who wants to join a growing project with its own apple orchard and a strong component of identity and gastronomic storytelling.
Initial incorporation into the kitchen team, with the prospect of leading in the coming months.
Responsibilities:
Coordination and management of the kitchen team
Design and development of seasonal specials
Cost control, recipe costing, and supplier management
Stock management, ordering, and preservation
Compliance with HACCP regulations
Requirements:
Proven previous experience in the kitchen, preferably in a leadership role
Training in hospitality/cooking (Basque Culinary Center or equivalent is a plus)
Leadership skills and ability to work in a team
Availability to reside in Zarautz or nearby
