Night Receptionist - Night Shift in Zarautz

At HOTAU, the management company of Hotel Ur Bare in Zarautz (Gipuzkoa), we are looking to hire a Night Receptionist who will take responsibility for guest service and hotel operations during the night shift. This role is key to ensuring continuity, security, and proper preparation of the hotel between the end of the day and the start of the morning service.

You will be part of a team committed to excellence in customer service and hotel operations, in a professional and dynamic environment.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

Attending to guests in person and by phone during the night shift, managing late arrivals, check-ins, and early departures. You will handle guest requests and incidents, manage reservations, billing, and payments, and operate the PMS for proper closing and opening of shifts. You will communicate incidents and pending matters to the morning reception team and supervise the premises overnight, responding to any issues.

You will assist in the prior preparation of breakfast service, organizing food and setting up tables and spaces, as well as replenishing necessary supplies. Additionally, you will support auxiliary restaurant tasks when needed.

You will perform minor tidying and cleaning tasks, check common areas, care for plants, and carry out auxiliary maintenance tasks that do not require specialized technical knowledge, reporting any incidents to the maintenance team.

Job Requirements

Experience: Previous experience in hotel reception, tourist accommodations, or similar establishments is required.

Autonomy and responsibility: Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the establishment during the night shift.

Customer orientation: Good ability to provide professional and friendly service, as well as to handle incidents and unforeseen situations.

Versatility: Willingness to collaborate with different hotel departments.

Digital skills: Regular use of computer tools and hotel management software.

Experience with night shifts: Previous experience working night shifts and knowledge of hotel PMS will be valued.

Languages: Proficiency in languages, especially English, will be valued.

Job Details

Location: Zarautz, Gipuzkoa.

Schedule: Night shift from 23:00 to 06:00.
